Mijas is the chilled out face of the Costa del Sol, and could not be recommended more for those who want to go on holiday to relax. While it may not have quite the array of bars and restaurants to be found in other resorts, it does have a charm more akin to a traditional Spanish town and the feeling here is definitely not of a nameless resort but of a vibrant and intimate community Andaluz town.
